Appling, GA - Ben Calhoun of MI and Gregg Hosfeld of FL had been battling this season, each trying to be the first player to log rounds on 1000 different courses. Yesterday they both shot number 1000 together on the newest course at the International Disc Golf Center near Augusta.

Sarasota, FL - More than 10,000 athletes on over 600 teams from across North America entered the series in September. Those teams with enough strength and tenacity met in Sarasota to compete for the 2008 UPA Club Championships. Final results:

Toronto, ON - University of Toronto's team Torontula recently won their third Canadian University Ultimate Championship title after taking about U of Alberta 15-11. The victory came despite having lost ten of the team’s starting players to graduation.
